KAMTA Website

KAMTA, begun in 1977, is an organization of music educators throughout the Flathead Valley who meet regularly in order to provide mutual professional support for each other and to promote music through their various programs and activities. One of the principal goals of the group has been to help its members further their knowledge and expertise in the area of teaching music by providing for the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences.

KAMTA provides a variety of activities for students including Honors Recitals, the annual Scholarship Alumni Concert, MSMTA Fall and Spring Festival adjudications, MSMTA Student Advancement Programs, and educational and music camp scholarships.

KAMTA is an affiliate chapter of Montana State Music Teachers Association (MSMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and as such, adheres to the programs and the code of ethics as set forth by these organizations.
